It's that time of year again! As it gets closer to Christmas we see a number of special offers and incentives for products we would like to give as gifts or buy for ourselves. Every year we try to help you make informed decisions when it comes to making purchases of computers and mobile devices. If you're considering making such a purchase then bring all of your questions to the meeting with you.

Here some things you might be thinking about:

1. Is this the right time to purchase a new computer, tablet, phone, or peripheral?

2. What do I want to use a new device for?

3. Are there new features in iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, AppleTV or HomeKit that make now a good time to upgrade or buy new?

4. How much memory do I need in a new device?

We're also making decisions about the prizes for this year's Holiday Party, so we'll be looking for your input about the types of things you would like to win. Be ready to offer up your suggestions!

If you have questions you'd like answered about any of the above, we'd love to hear from you ahead of the meeting. Members can post their questions or suggestions on the UAUG Discord server in the #suggestions channel.

Speaking of Discord, hopefully you've heard by now that we've discontinued use of Webex and started using Discord as our platform for online member discussions and for joining the meetings remotely. If you are a member and aren't on Discord yet, or have questions about becoming a UAUG member, email us at the address below for assistance.
